Montana Wildlife... and Adventure

This beautiful buck greeted us just steps away from my parent's house.

Okay, this isn't exactly Montana wildlife, but a gecko is the gift that Paige decided we should get for her Uncle Ryan. Isn't he too cute? Did you know that geckos can live for 10-20 years?!

My father bought a kayak this summer. We had SO much fun kayaking around Mussigbrod lake. We even went on a midnight cruise around the lake. THAT was amazing!

Templeton loved the freedom of off leash in Montana! I think that it is a bit difficult for him to get used to city life again.

Shed... Fence....Coop Building Day

What a FANTASTIC weekend! Paige and I were so blessed to have a group of friends and family descend upon our yard last weekend. The weather was amazing. (75 degrees baby!) We were able to build a beautiful new fence... my dad designed and built a wonderful shed... AND we worked on the coop for the chickies. Wowzers, it is like living in a whole different place.
We can never thank Shelby, Justin, Misty, Dustin, Dad, Melissa, Meg, and Kylie enough!

Proud Mom Moment!

Okay... So, I know that this is my first post of the New Year, and I REALLY should be sitting down and reflecting on the last year as well as writing down my thoughts for this year. Well, to be frank, I just have not gotten around to that quite yet. Can you believe that it is the 21st day of 'o8? I just had to share a proud mom moment, however.
Paige has been taking guitar lessons for the past few months. Well, tonight she blew me away by playing "You are My Sunshine." How beautiful! It was extra special because this was my Grandma and Grandpa's song. Paige has been knocking my socks off with her many creative abilities!
I do hope that you are ALL having a wonderful '08.
