I just received my acceptance letter from Lewis and Clark College! I have been accepted to the Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology: Psychological and Cultural Studies program. I am so excited as this will give me an opportunity to pursue research that I am interested in, primarily in the area of traumatized children. And will move me closer to my goal of teaching and writing. AND... who knows what else. All I know is that the road is never fully known, isn't that great?
I have been taking a class at Lewis and Clark, and am thrilled that I will be able to further my education there. So, now onto the world of financial aid!

That's so exciting! Congratulations :) I know you are completely capable and I wouldn't doubt for a minute that you would get in, but I know that it can be quite a relief. I was still holding out hope for seeing you around Marylhurst, but your program sounds like a good fit. Good job!

I am so proud of you! Mandi was hoping you would come to Marylhurst too but oh well. Tom says, "Good work! Go for it! Enjoy the process of learning and educating yourself." You know him. Anyway, 2008 is proving to be a BIG year for you and it's only April!
